‘Escape Plan 2: Hades’ Trailer Finds Stallone Breaking In to Break Us Out

Fans rejoice. Take a deep breath and exhale. The sequel we’ve all been waiting for is only a few months away. I know you know we’re talking Escape Plan 2: Hades. Sylvester Stallone returns for the sequel, which finds his character Ray Breslin breaking In to a prison rather than breaking Out. Sly will be joined by franchise newcomer Dave Bautista. Bautista’s muscles fill in for Arnold Schwarzenegger, who will not be returning.

In all seriousness, the reason I like movies like this is because it doesn’t pretend to be anything its not. Either you like these silly action movies or you don’t. While I don’t necessarily always feel like watching something like this, occasionally it’s great. Like any junk food it must be consumed in moderation.

Here’s the official synopsis:

Years after Ray Breslin [Academy Award® nominee Sylvester Stallone] fought his way out of the escape-proof prison called “The Tomb,

Bosch's Titus Welliver Reflects on Finding Out He Was Lost's [Spoiler] and Other Highlights From His TV Career
When he was coming up in showbiz, Titus Welliver knew prosthetics existed that could make actors appear bulkier on screen. He just couldn’t fathom why you’d put them on your body.

“Why would you wear a fat suit?” he says he remembers thinking. “I was this young actor, and [Robert] De Niro was my hero.” After De Niro famously gained 60 lbs. to take on the role of boxer Jake Lamotta in the 1980 film Raging Bull, “I was like, ‘Yeah, that’s what acting’s about,'” he recalls. “You really want to disappear.”

He chuckles. “Of course, the difference

‘Bosch’ Boss Discusses Eleanor’s Big Scene and What’s Coming in Season 5

[Editor’s Note: The following contains spoilers from “Bosch” Season 4.]

The life of a homicide detective is not an easy one, but Det. Hieronymus “Harry” Bosch (Titus Welliver) has been tested even more than usual this season on his eponymous Amazon series. As the lead on a task force investigating the murder of a high-profile attorney on Los Angeles’ Angels Flight railcar, Bosch has to contend with public perception, a shady police commission chief, and possible corruption inside the Lapd.

And while that’s all part of the job, Bosch’s own personal tragedies have also overlapped with cases this year. Our hero finally got closure for the cold case murder of his mother since that killer and the Angels Flight killer turned out to be one and the same. But the biggest blow came when Harry had to watch his ex-wife Eleanor (Sarah Clarke) get gunned down and die. In trying to bring her killers to justice,

‘Bosch’ Review: Amazon’s Unstoppable Cop Drama Elevates the Series With a Season 4 Shocker

In its fourth season, “Bosch” remains as good and solid as its namesake hero. The creation of author Michael Connelly, good ol’ Det. Hieronymus “Harry” Bosch (Titus Welliver) is a no-excuses cop who is haunted by his past, but you wouldn’t know it because he’s also incredibly businesslike. He’s not crippled by his obsessions nor addictions, he’s not a quirky savant with exceptional detecting skills, and he’s not in any way an obnoxious attention seeker.

Instead, his appeal is that he does his job without fanfare and as honestly and implacably as possible, while occasionally overextending himself. And so too does “Bosch” the series. It’s why it was Amazon’s top-watched original series for several years until “Sneaky Pete” sneaked in: “Bosch” is so reliable in how pure and straightforward it is that a series-altering event in the first half of the season is actually shocking when it happens.

The actor — who currently headlines the Amazon series Bosch — will guest-star on the NBC drama as a big-time meth dealer, TVLine has learned.

Welliver’s Ronald Booth was recently released from prison, which can’t be a good thing for the citizens of the Windy City, judging by this scary character description: “[Booth] can slide from chilling charm to fervent rage in an instant. He may be handsome, intense, intelligent, cunning and mercurial, but don’t let that fool you — he’s capable of anything.”

Bosch renewed for season 5 by Amazon, season 4 air date set

Joseph Baxter Feb 14, 2018

Bosch, the acclaimed Amazon crime series, has received a renewal for season 5, just as the release date for season 4 finally arrives...

Amazon has a feeling that it can’t let go... when it comes to the retro-noir contemporary crime procedural series, Bosch, which stars Titus Welliver as the titular troubled Lapd detective. That’s because the retail monolith’s streaming platform has renewed the series for season 5! Additionally, Amazon has provided the long-awaited announcement revealing the (unlucky) date on which season 4 premieres on Prime: Friday, April 13th.

The preemptively ordered Bosch season 5 will arrive as a partial restoration of the show’s status quo, since April’s season 4 will be the manifestation of a major sea change behind the scenes that saw showrunner/executive producer Eric Overmyer exit the series to migrate over to fellow Amazon peak TV offering The Man In The High Castle. However, Overmyer

According to our sister site Deadline, executive producer Eric Overmyer will return as co-showrunner for Season 5, after holding that position for the first three seasons, then stepping down to oversee Amazon’s The Man In the High Castle. (Overmyer’s replacement at High Castle, meanwhile, has not yet been named.)

“As Amazon Prime Video’s longest-running one-hour series, Bosch has long been a cornerstone of our scripted programming, and Prime members consistently clamor for more,” said Sharon Tal Yguado,

If You Long For The Days Of Marvel One-Shots, Eric Pearson Has News For You

Once upon a time, the Marvel Cinematic Universe did not rely simply upon post-credit scenes to add content to the fabric that holds its franchise instalments together. It also created short films – known as Marvel One-Shots – that were designed to provide an opportunity for the giant brand to experiment with other, lesser-known characters, while filling the gaps in storytelling that inevitably open up within the confines of such a vast narrative endeavour. These short films became highly anticipated gems, and were included with Blu-ray releases of theatrical movies. Unfortunately, there hasn’t been a Marvel One-Shot since 2014, but that may be a situation that’s heading for change.

Eric Pearson is a co-screenwriter (with Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost) for Thor: Ragnarok, which is about to release in cinemas. The movie is his first feature length script, but he’s highly experienced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – having worked his
