Georg Vogelsang was born on May 15, 1883 in Munich, Bavaria, German Empire. He was an actor, known for Wer bist du, den ich liebe? (1950), Die Sehnsucht des Herzens (1951) and Der Ausgestossene (1913). He died on December 21, 1952 in Schliersee, Bavaria, Germany.

Bavarian character actor, on stage from 1903. A specialist in regional comedies. Regularly in films from the late 1930's as crusty or hearty bucolic types.
He had a successful comeback with the movies "Der Edelweisskönig" (1939) and "Die Pfingstorgel" (1939). One year later he achieved great popularity with his role as the Rosenbauer Nicodemus in the movie "Die Geierwally" (1940).
He was able to continue his career after the war till his death.
After 1925 he concentrated to the theater again and only returned to the big screen at the end of the 30's.
The actor Georg Vogelsang began his career at the theater where he took part in numerous plays.
