Oliver Vogel has been a valued member of the Bavaria Film Group team for more than 20 years. As an executive producer, his credits include numerous successful TV series such as In Aller Freundschaft, Tierärztin Dr. Mertens, Soko Stuttgart, Dr. Klein, Rentnercops, Dengler and the multi award-winning international TV series Das Boot.
In 2010, Oliver Vogel was also appointed managing director of Colonia Media, a Bavaria subsidiary, and in 2014, after the merger with Bavaria Fernsehproduktion, he took the position of Authorized Representative and Executive Vice President Programming. He was appointed CCO of Bavaria Fiction in 2017.
In February 2021, Oliver Vogel left the Bavaria Film Group and switched to Leonine Studios. There he is managing director of Wiedemann and Berg Television, together with Benjamin Benedict and their founders Max Wiedemann and Quirin Berg.
