Joe Viterelli was born on March 10, 1937 in The Bronx, New York, USA as Joseph Walter Viterelli. He was an actor, known for Bullets Over Broadway (1994), Analyze This (1999) and Analyze That (2002). He was married to Catherine Brennan. He died on January 28, 2004 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

His memorial service was held at the Beverly Hills Friars Club where Billy Crystal eulogized.

Was coaxed into show business by director Leo Penn, as Penn felt Viterelli had a unique look. Viterelli was initially hesitant, but it subsequently led to his 30+ film roles.
Was last seen in a 2004 Super Bowl commercial for Staples, in which he portrayed his mafia-esque trademark. He died just days before it aired.
