Brian Vermeire is a proud graduate of the Sanford Meisner 2-year acting program. While studying the Meisner Technique he simultaneously learned the ropes of improv and sketch-comedy at the famous Groundlings Theatre in Los Angeles. There he studied directly under such well-known comedic actors as Mindy Sterling (Austin Powers, Drop Dead Gorgeous, How the Grinch Stole Christmas) and Tim Bagley (Happy Texas, The Mask, Austin Powers). After being armed with his formal acting training he was invited to join the award-winning Sanford Meisner Theatre Company in North Hollywood, where he has performed in numerous plays that have earned him rave reviews from such publications as LA Weekly, LA Times and Back Stage West/Drama Logue.

Brian is also a respected stand-up comedian known in the Los Angeles market as the "sharp and witty comedian with a 'late night-style' talk show host appeal." Brian performs stand-up comedy which often "hysterically lampoons current events with amazingly twisted, skewed and off-kilter punchlines." You can catch Brian playing to crowds at major comedy clubs such as The Comedy Store, Caroline's and The Ice House.

Brian has extensive experience within the Entertainment Industry wearing many hats as a writer, producer and actor. He has worked for FOX, The Disney Channel, The Family Channel, WireBreak Entertainment and Vin DiBona Productions. Brian graduated cum laude from Emerson College, receiving a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism.

The seminar, taught by the most widely known and respected screenwriting lecturer in the world, has left him remembering that, "Story-telling has form, but no formula." After having gained much wisdom straight from the master, Brian immediately put his creative energy to work. To-date he has co-written four unique scripts and a sit-com pilot. The next project on his docket is producing a romantic-comedy entitled, REARended.
