Crystal has had two MOW's produced and has three more Features optioned, in various stages development. She is a 2021 U.S. Writer's Lab semi-finalist, a 2019 quarter-finalist in the Nicholl, and a 2020 finalist in the VWIFTV International Competition. She switched to writing full time in 2014 after more than twenty-five years as a busy actor in Film, TV and Theatre. She holds a BFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia, 2009 and a Diploma in Theatre Arts from George Brown College, Toronto and is the Dept. Head and Feature instructor for the Writing For Film & Television Program at InFocus Film School, Vancouver, Canada.
