Rudy was born in South Africa and grew up in what is now known as
Kwa-Zulu, Natal. While in South Africa, Rudy worked in the Kruger
National Park as a Game Ranger but always wanted to be a filmmaker. He
moved to New York City in 1995 and started working his way up the
production ranks on commercials, music videos and films. Rudy's work
brought him to Los Angeles in 1997 and he joined the Director's Guild
of America in 2003.
