Jasper van Hecke attended film schools in Boston (USA) and Amsterdam
(The Netherlands). Since his graduation (B.A. Fiction Direction), he has
emerged both as a director and as a creative producer. He started out directing TV commercials (Coca
Cola, McDonalds etc) and gradually moved into Film and TV production
(MTV, Corrino Films). Van Hecke was part of Marc Samuelson's PTP
supported by the UKFC and trained with various companies including: The
Walt Disney Company, Capitol Films, Olswang Sollicitors, Allied Irish
Banks, Focus Features and Momentum Pictures. Thereafter Van Hecke
joined Stephen Fry's Sprout Pictures as Head of Development &
Production. In 2008 Van Hecke transferred to Universal Pictures.
