Born in Perpignan in the south of France, Patrick Taulere spent is childhood in Le Perthus, a village situated at the border of France and Spain. He then attended the university of La Sorbonne and Orsay in Paris France. At age 20 Taulere moved to Hollywood to study film and graduated from Art Center in Pasadena as an honored film major. He started his directing career at ABC and became American citizen in 1990.

"Emmy"; "Aurora"; "Telly" and "Cine Golden Eagle" award-winner, In 1982 Taulere started his career in Hollywood as a director, producer and writer for television, motion pictures and advertising.

For major studios Taulere has directed or produced numerous prime time series, pilots and specials such as Paramount' "Sightings"; Universal's "Arrest & Trial"; Fox's "Scariest Places on Earth" and MGM's "Scandals Hollywood Style".

For TV networks, Taulere has directed or produced multiple prime time series and specials such as CBS' "Unsolved Mysteries"; NBC's "Name your Adventure" and ABC's "Signs of Fear".

For cable networks Patrick has directed or produced prime time docudrama films such as The History Channel's "Warrior Queen Boudica"; "The Last Mission"; "The Battle of Tripoli"; "The Plot to Kill Nixon"; "Troy". He has also directed or produced prime time series such as CMT's "Angels Among Us"; Discovery Channel's "Reasonable Doubt"; Lifetime's "Beyond Chance" and "What Should you Do?"; PAX's "It's a Miracle"; TBS's "The Movie Break"; TLC's "Critical Condition".

Patrick's work as executive producer and director includes episodes from Trutv's series "The Investigators" and "Dominick Dunne's Power, Privilege & Justice", produced by Taulere's company Art 7 Films (formerly Meteorite films).

Taulere's directorial credits also include national commercials for the USA and abroad markets, music videos, corporate films as well as second unit directing of the major motion picture "End of The Line".

The two latest advertising campaigns were directed by Patrick and produced by his company Art 7 Films

Patrick Taulere is a member of the Directors Guild of America since 1987; SACD (The French Director's & Writer's society) and The Academy of Television Arts and Science.
