Starr graduated from the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada in
1972 with a law degree. He is the nephew of Samuel Z. Arkoff. He is the
founder and owner of Grosvenor Park Productions and financier of such
movies as Gosford Park, Good Will Hunting, Reign of Fire and hundreds
of other movies.
