The 98 Degrees singer had so much fun learning how to dance on the show, that he joined the pros and troupe dancers on their DWTS tour after winning the title. At the time, he had no idea that his brother, Nick Lachey, would later compete on season 25 of the show with Peta Murgatroyd. Tina Turner Recalls the Night She Risked Her Life to Flee Her Abusive Husband—and Musical Partner—Ike
Husband and wife Ike and Tina Turner became one of the biggest acts of the ’60s with their high-octane soul revue, but behind the hits lay a vicious abusive relationship. The scene was dramatized in the 1993 biopic What’s Love Got to Do with It, but Turner recently opened up about that harrowing night during an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show airing Saturday on ITV.

“I walked out without anything and had to make it

Cold War Thriller Atomic Blonde Unveils First Full Trailer Starring Charlize Theron

The Coldest City, Antony Johnston and Sam Hart’s graphic novel about the dangerous world of espionage, has been simmering on the back-burner ever since Charlize Theron swooped in to acquire screen rights a few years ago. That’s hardly surprising, given the actress’ busy, busy schedule, but we’re now only a few months away from welcoming Johnston and Hart’s Cold War thriller onto the big screen, and it’s got a new name to boot: Atomic Blonde.

Headed up choreographer-turned-director David Leitch (John Wick, Deadpool 2), Atomic Blonde places Theron in the boots of Agent Lorraine Broughton, a best-in-class secret agent and the crown jewel of Her Majesty’s Secret Intelligence Service. Dispatched on a top-secret mission to Berlin circa 1989 – just prior to the historic moment when the wall came tumbling down – Theron’s operative is chasing a high-priority target: a dossier containing the identities of all secret agents,

First Look At Atomic Blonde Unveils Charlize Theron As A Cunning Master Spy

Meet Agent Lorraine Broughton. Considered the crown jewel of Her Majesty’s Secret Intelligence Service, Agent Broughton is a force to be reckoned with – a near pitch-perfect mix of brains and brawn that will soon be dispatched to Berlin in 1989, just prior to the historic moment when the Berlin Wall was torn asunder.

When casting the net in search of his leading lady for Atomic Blonde – previously titled The Coldest City – choreographer-turned-director David Leitch (John Wick) had only one actress in mind: Charlize Theron. Two years on from the moment when the Oscar-winner stole headlines left, right, and center in Mad Max: Fury Road, the actress is ready to trade Furiosa for femme fatale, as her feisty, unforgiving Lorraine Broughton works to locate a top-secret dossier during one of the most politically volatile periods in Germany’s history. James McAvoy also stars as a fellow spy, and can be seen

Matthew McConaughey Says ‘It’s Time for Us to Embrace’ Donald Trump

Matthew McConaughey Says ‘It’s Time for Us to Embrace’ Donald Trump
While on “The Andrew Marr Show” promoting his new film “Gold,” Matthew McConaughey threw in his two cents on the new Trump presidency. McConaughey broke from what Marr called the typical Hollywood opinion; where others have expressed deep frustration and anger, McConaughey was more diplomatic in his comments.

"He's our president now, we must embrace, shake hands & be constructive with him" Matthew McConaughey on Trump & new film 'Gold' #marr pic.twitter.com/EvCY7GhLp6

The Andrew Marr Show (@MarrShow) January 29, 2017

Marr compared the story of “Gold,” a by-your-bootstraps rags-to-riches story which places a poor prospector against the tycoons of Wall Street, to the narrative of a divided United States of America that dominates public discourse.

When asked if the “cultural elite of America” should give President Trump a break, McConaughey countered that they don’t even have a choice.

“He’s our president,” the Texas native said. “It

Fright At Home – The Best of September!! The Shallows, The Neon Demon, Salem’S Lot and More

Typically what we do with our ongoing Fright At Home column, is showcase the top releases of whatever respective week that the column falls on. This time though, I thought it would be fun to spread the coverage to highlight some of our favorite releases to have been put out during the month of September, opening the coverage up to put the spotlight not only Every DVD and/or Bluray, but the ones that caught our eyes. Some of the year’s best genre films have hit home video this month, so it would be silly to leave some of them out just because they came out last week, so they’ve been included, with everything from this week’s releases of The Shallows and The Neon Demon to the month’s earlier releases like The Conjuring 2 and a trio of Stephen King adaptions. So if you’re looking

Echoes of Stir: Four Hours in Joliet

  • MUBI
Photo by Donnacha Kenny"Congratulations, Tom; you're one of the lucky eight per cent!" —Stir of Echoes (1999)Joliet, Illinois is probably the American city which more people have dreamed more fervently of escaping than any other. But after spending four hours in 'Prison Town'—long synonymous far and wide with incarceration—I was sad to leave; I'll be glad one day to return. Fortunately, such matters are questions of personal choice. Many of the area's residents, including those not serving custodial sentences, have little realistic option but to remain—trapped by personal, social and/or economic circumstances that can feel as confining as any 6-by-8 cell. "Joliet, or "J-Town", is racially diverse and is known as a crime-ridden city, although the area has shown much improvement since the 1990's... The east side is generally known as the ghetto side and the west side is known as middle class, even though
