Sandra Spence was born on May 22, 1925 in Olympia, Washington, USA as Nettie Jane Fowler. She was an actress, known for Whirlybirds (1957), Terry and the Pirates (1952) and Fighting Coast Guard (1951). She was married to Harlan Howard Meyer and Irwin Spence. She died on February 13, 1974 in Midlothian, Texas, USA.

In 1959 she married Jack Spence's half brother, Harlan Howard Meyer. He was 24, she was 34.
Was selected Miss San Diego in August of 1941.
Retired from acting in 1957 and opened an antique shop. The same year her husband opened a Ford dealership in Laguna Beach, CA..
Met her first husband at a USO dance in 1944. Irwin Junior Spence was a Navy pilot.
Her husband Jack Spence dies from a heart attack, Jan. 1958. He was only 36 years old.
Had her first child in April 1946, a daughter Sandra Marlene.
In 1951 she was chosen "Coast Guard Queen" as part of a promotion of the film Fighting Coast Guard (1951).
She had a brother Earnest and a sister Shirley Ann.
Eloped with Irwin Spence after knowing him for three weeks. She was 19.
She moved with her second husband to Midlothian, TX, where she lived out her life. She was active in her local church and became a lay speaker. Later she took up golf as a hobby.
