Stars: William Shatner, Jean Smart, Christopher Lloyd, Esai Morales, Katrina Bowden, Carlos Miranda, Don McManus | Written by Kurt Brungardt, Christopher Momenee | Directed by Giorgio Serafini
William Shatner proves he’s still got it by headlining this romantic comedy at the grand old age of 90. Admittedly, the script’s a little creaky, but the film stays watchable thanks to Shatner’s star power and a charming support performance from co-star Jean Smart.
Shatner plays Victor Martin, a former NASA pilot who’s retired to Palm Springs, where he spends his days cruising around town in his beloved Porsche, hanging out with best friend Sal (Christopher Lloyd) and occasionally chasing much younger women, like car magazine model Kristen.
However, after his car spins out of control during a race against cheeky low rider Pablo (Carlos Miranda), Victor has his licence temporarily revoked and winds up meeting cafe owner Caroline (Smart) when he has to take public transport.

More films with Eddie Izzard and Judi Dench is something that the world needs. They starred together in Stephen Frears’ Victoria & Abdul in 2017 and now they reunite in the Andy Goddard-directed Six Minutes To Midnight which will be released by IFC Films in theaters and on demand starting today.
Written by Izzard, Goddard and Celyn Jones, Six Minutes To Midnight is based on true events from 1939. The film follows teacher Thomas Miller (Izzard) who has taken a last-minute and controversial role teaching English to the daughters of high-ranking Nazis at the Augusta-Victoria College, Bexhill-on-Sea – a finishing school on the south coast of England.
Under the watchful eye of their headmistress Miss Rocholl (Dench), and her devout assistant Ilse Keller (Carla Juri), the girls practice their English and learn how to represent the ideal of German womanhood.

I approached this rom-com among the elderly with great trepidation. The cast of Senior Moment is headed by three actors whose work I’ve enjoyed many times – William Shatner, Christopher Lloyd and Jean Smart. The anxiety comes from decades of such films turning out to be mush that can be downed without dentures, as the seniors become caricatures in absurd situations. One common trope is for a hot, much younger woman to fall for a man old enough to be at least her father. Such connections develop even without the geriatric gent having enough money or fame to provide incentive. I suppose the tradition arose from old white male studio heads, who lived their own fantasies vicariously via the screening room. If a Walter Matthau character could reel in an Ann-Margret, as he did in Grumpy Old Men, hope remains alive for them and the old dudes who buy tickets.

"This is not about you getting back your license to drive, this is about your license to live!" Screen Media Films has unveiled an official trailer for an old timers romantic comedy called Senior Moment, made by filmmaker Giorgio Serafini. This zany romcom set in SoCal features William Shatner and Jean Smart in a lovers-at-any-age romance. After drag racing his vintage convertible around Palm Springs, a retired NASA test pilot loses his driver's license. Forced to take public transportation, he meets Caroline. Now he must not only battle with the Dmv, he must also find new ways to navigate love and life without his beloved vintage Porsche. The film's cast also includes Christopher Lloyd, Esai Morales, Katrina Bowden, and Carlos Miranda. This definitely seems like a "for adults only" kind of comedy, if you know what I mean. I'm not even old enough for it. And it looks like Lloyd...

Watch Dolph Lundgren waste hapless lackies and forge a partnership in an exclusive clip from The Tracker.
The Tracker, an upcoming actioner, won’t exactly show star Dolph Lundgren expanding his performance repertoire in an exceptionally artful manner, but it will find him in familiar ass-kicking form.
Indeed, the ‘80s icon continues his post-Expendables onscreen resurgence in this actioner, in which he plays a doggedly determined ex-military man who’s looking to solve the 15-year mystery of his missing family – brandishing a magnifying glass that requires high-caliber ammo.
If that sounds like an intriguing cinematic guilty pleasure, then check out the exclusive clip below!
As you can see, the film’s titular tracker, Aiden Hakansson (Lundgren) – on the mission of looking for his family – rescues police detective Antonio Graziani (Marco Mazzoli) from a predicament involving armed balaclava-wearing baddies, forging a partnership based on aligned interests.

"No one can be trusted in this village." Lionsgate has released a trailer for a very cheesy Italian action film titled The Tracker, made by filmmaker Giorgio Serafini. The film stars Dolph Lundgren, completing his move away from anything with any real substance or worthwhile content, into the world of campy Italian B-movies. He's already been there for a while, but why not churn out a few more of these films for no one to watch. What is this one about? A mysterious stranger travels to a remote village where, 15 years earlier, his wife and daughter were kidnapped. Lundgren plays some kind of veteran marksman who gets revenge on the criminals who took his family. Also starring Cosimo Fusco, Anna Falchi, Marta Gastini, Bruno Bilotta, and Marco Mazzoli. This film looks as forgettable as they come, not even worth it for Lundgren. Here's the official trailer (+ poster) for Giorgio Serafini's The Tracker,...

Cast: Eric Balfour, Ladon Drummond, Kristin Cochell, Joe Grisaffi and Larry Wade Carrell. 200 Degrees is a small indie production. From Smoke Hammer Media and West Arts, this film centrally stars Eric Balfour (Backcountry, 2014). He plays the ultra deceitful Ryan Hinds. Trapped in an industrial kiln, there is no way out for Ryan, unless he can face the truth. But, this very unloveable character never integrates, nor lives the truth, in any way. 200 Degrees is very much inspired by James Wan's Saw (2004), especially in setting and plot design. Almost the entire film is housed in one, small room. As well, 200 Degrees is in every way a minimalist production. Almost all interactions take place on a phone, or through a speaker. The entire film rests with Balfour,...

It has been awhile since there has been news on Giorgio Serafini's 200 Degrees. Since October of 2016, the film has been renamed from Burn to 200 Degrees. As well, this title has found distribution through Level 33 Entertainment. In June, the film will be available through Video-on-demand formats. And, the film centrally stars Eric Balfour as Ryan. Ryan is a stockbroker, trapped in an industrial kiln. He has a short amount of time, to make a million dollars and have it delivered. A preview of the film's VOD launch is hosted here. The VOD trailer is very similar to the one released in late 2016. It shows Ryan held in a small room as the temperature is turned up. Frantic, Ryan must uses all of his contacts and wiles to find an escape. But, it is no easy task to raise one million dollars, especially under this must heat and pressure. Level 33 Entertainment...

Back to the Future star Christopher Lloyd will be teaming up with William Shatner in a new comedy film called Senior Moment. Lloyd and Shatner in the same movie together.. again!? As many of you already know, the two actors previously starred together in Star Trek III: The Search For Spock. I never really thought I'd see them together in a film again, but this is a comedic team-up we never knew we wanted until now!
In the film, Shatner plays "a retired Top Gun Navy pilot who used to test aircraft for Nasa. After speeding around town in his vintage convertible hot rod with his best friend (played by Lloyd) in tow, he gets caught in a major crackdown to get dangerous senior drivers off the road, resulting in his car being impounded and his license revoked."

William Shatner is boldly going where only so many actors have gone before: Variety reports the Star Trek stalwart has just boarded an indie rom-com called Senior Moment. In what sounds like an homage to both Top Gun and Space Cowboys, Shatner will play a retired Navy pilot who also happened to test aircraft for Nasa. But retirement can’t clip this maverick’s wings, as he zips around town in a little hot rod (hang on, we’re not at the rom-com part yet.) The film’s being directed by Giorgio Serafini, the helmer of such, um, lighthearted fare as Game Of Death starring Wesley Snipes and the forthcoming The Executioners. We assume there’s a meet-cute nestled somewhere in all that bloody revenge, making Serafini very much the right guy to direct a movie about a twilight-years romance.

A few details are igniting for Giorgio Serafini's Burn. This film, centrally starring Eric Balfour (Backcountry), involves a trapped stock broker. His life hangs in the balance as a psychopath turns up the heat, in an isolated kiln. Burn also stars: Ladon Drummond, Joe Grisaffi and Kristin Cochell. Slated for a release in early 2017, the film's first poster and trailer are hosted here. Most of the plotline has been discussed above. However, more plot points are revealed in the trailer. In the clip, Ryan is tasked with making a mysterious man 1 million dollars. He must use all of his contacts, as a stock broker, to track down the cash. But, the time is running out and the temperature is heating up, making Ryan's task that much more difficult. Burn is reminiscent of other films. The film is influenced by the Saw franchise. One man is housed in a trap,...

Tom Sizemore has taken to crowdfunding platform Indiegogo to raise funds for his passion project An Honest Thief, a noir-ish thriller that the Heat and Saving Private Ryan actor is putting together as a starring vehicle. It’s his first film as a producer and a step toward rebuilding his up-and-down career following a public relapse in January, but Sizemore says he has refocused his sights on sobriety and is optimistic. “I want to get back,” he said over the phone Wednesday. “I want to make something I look forward to.”
An Honest Thief is written by the actor’s younger brother Aaron Sizemore and tracks three outcasts who plot to steal a prized baseball card collection from a local pawnbroker. Belgian helmer Giorgio Serafini (Gente Di Mare) is attached to direct the pic, which is set in Sizemore’s hometown of Detroit and will film on location. Sizemore will play Danny St.

A Certain Justice, aka Puncture Wounds, is the latest film from the foursome of Giorgio Serafini, Dolph Lundgren, Vinnie Jones and Gianni Capaldi, who previously worked together on Hard Rush (aka Ambushed) and Blood of Redemption. This time round the group is joined by Ufc Fighter-turned action star Cung Le (from the awesome Dragon Eyes) and one of my favourite female stars working in Hollywood today, Briana Evigan.
The film tells the story of soldier John Nguyen, who returns home from a traumatic tour of duty in Iraq struggling with Ptsd. What little peace he had managed to build around him is shattered one fateful day when he rescues a local call girl from a group of violent pimps, killing one and severely injuring the other.

Tough guys Dolph Lundgren and Randy Couture duke it out in Giorgio Serafini’s cop actioner “Ambushed” this November 12th on DVD and Blu-ray, but why buy a copy when we have three (3) free Blu-rays of the movie to give away for absolutely free? That’s right, you don’t have to do anything at all. How easy could it be? Well, it’s as easy as reading on below for details. Now that’s easy! About The Movie: Ambushed charts the dark, seductive underbelly of Los Angeles, told from the point of view of two of its seedier denizens, mid-level drug pushers Eddie (Gianni Capaldi) and Frank (Daniel Bonjour). They want a chance to hit the big time. Unfortunately, they decide to achieve their goal by ripping off their middleman in a murderous bid for greatness, setting off a dangerous chain of events involving a ruthless crime boss, a...

Dolph Lundgren, playing a hard case lawman, lays down the law to fellow hard case lawman Randy Couture in an Exclusive clip from director Giorgio Serafini’s “Ambushed”. Check it out below. I still contend that Sylvester Stallone and his “Expendables” buddies should get together one evening and come up with a coherent Expendables Movie Universe, where characters from the movie team-up. You could do prequels before they became Expendables, or jump ahead in time, or do side stories. I’m telling you, it would work. Call me, Sly! “The Expendables” co-stars Dolph Lundgren and Randy Couture team up in “Ambushed”, though they’re not playing their characters from “The Expendables”. It would be cool if they did, though, right? I don’t know why Stallone doesn’t spin-off the characters, kinda like how Marvel does it. It could be The Expendables Cinematic Universe, or Ecu. So Jet Li’s character would get his own movie, and would cameo in a Stallone Barney Ross movie, who would cameo in a Dolph Lundgren and Randy Couture team-up. You get the idea. Until that happens, we’ll just have to make do with guys like Couture and Lundgren showing up in the same movies, like director Giorgio Serafini’s cop actioner “Ambushed”. Check out two clips from that team-up below. Ambushed charts the dark, seductive underbelly of Los Angeles, told from the point of view of two of its seedier denizens,...

At the rate Dolph Lundgren is pumping out direct to market action movies, you get the feeling that a quality script is not his highest priority – after all many of his recent solo efforts have been severely lacking in both story and action, with only Stash House coming anywhere close to being a top-notch action flick. Thankfully Lundgren’s ratio of good to bad movies seems to be in his favour this time out and Hard Rush hits plenty of action-movie targets, even if it does succumb to a lot of genre cliches and stereotypes.

Mark Twain‘s story of Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer is no stranger to the film world. M. Night Shyamalan‘s After Earth, his in-development follow-up to the universally panned The Last Airbender, sounds rather iffy, but as we previously mentioned, with Stephen Gaghan‘s (Oscar-winner for Traffic) on-the-page contribution, there’s certainly room for intrigue, despite the vast disappointment of Shyamalan‘s recent output. (Though I’d personally argue that Devil, which credits Shyamalan as a story developer, is actually quite good fun.)
Isabelle Fuhrman, who’s set to appear in The Hunger Games as “Clove,” a name that will probably mean much more to devotees of the books than it does to me, is the latest to join the cast of Shyamalan‘s post-apocalyptic sci-fi adventure. Fuhrman is quickly making a name for herself, having recently starred in the successful horror-thriller Orphan alongside Vera Farmiga and Peter Sarsgaard. Maybach has two more films in post-production -- Sean Baker's Starlet and Andrew Dosunmu's Mother of George -- and is in the process of casting yet another project, which he will direct himself. The new drama, titled The Low Road, follows a young drifter who returns to his hometown and gets wrapped up in a conflict involving two old men on the verge of losing their farm. Maybach told Screen Daily [2] that he has put out offers to Nick Nolte and Tom Waits for the parts of the two older men, though as The Playlist [3] points out, the $1 million budget means that getting both actors may be a bit of a stretch.
