Italian art director who came to Hollywood after working for director Jean Renoir
on La Chienne
(1931). He was under contract at MGM from 1934 to 1942, and, again, from 1949 to 1953. Having had some experience in designing futuristic sets, he was signed up by the Disney Organisation during the construction of Disneyland as art director for Tomorrowland.
