Brent Scarpo has over thirty years experience as a national transformational speaker, educator, producer, writer, director, and casting director in Hollywood. Since 1999, Scarpo has presented educational speaking programs in all 50 states as well as 20 foreign countries. His programs have been presented at corporations, colleges and universities, high schools, middle schools, elementary schools as well as community events, conferences and faith-based retreats to a growing audience of over 1,000,000 people having received over 100 awards.

Scarpo has been featured twice on the front cover of Campus Activities Magazine and has showcased for conferences AFA, NACA, NASPA, AFLV and the National Middle School Conference. Scarpo's faith-based programs are enriched for his LOVE of God and has been a devout Lutheran having been confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Warren, PA.

Scarpo continues to develop and present diverse speaking programs with positive messages to audiences through film and television projects, books, special presentations, exhibits, and transformational speaking events. He is excited to present his newest speaking program entitled, "The Adventures of Brent & Sophie", a personal story of Scarpo's relationship with his service dog.

Scarpo founded the non-profit organization, New Light Media as well as worked in the entertainment industry in Hollywood. He served as a casting director on such films as the Oscar nominated The Shawshank Redemption, That Thing You Do, Matilda and Airforce One.

Scarpo won The Today Show's writing contest, Everyone Has A Story where his story, The Red Balloon was chosen out of 100,000 entries. It was one of The Today's Shows top stories. Kathy Lee Gifford said, "This was our favorite story and we saved the best for last." Scarpo newest book is The Red Balloon will be out 2021 as he continues to speak around the world.

Scarpo attended Mercyhurst College in Erie Pennsylvania earning his degree in English Literature and Communications. He is a member of Alpha Psi Omega and attended The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles CA. Scarpo is a Personal Life Coach and Grief Therapist.
