19 Michael Myers Actors Assemble For Epic Halloween Photo Op

Take Robert Englund out of A Nightmare on Elm Street or recast Chucky for the next Child’s Play and the fans will cry blasphemy, but hire someone new to play Michael Myers in Halloween and most longtime viewers will have no problem adjusting to the change.

As evidence, we present this new photo courtesy of Sean Clark from Convention All Stars, which sees the meeting of nineteen different actors who’ve played the lead killer in the ongoing slasher saga. In the caption to his Facebook post, Clark asserts that it was quite a feat getting all these former Michaels into one room and that “you will Never see this many or more in one photo ever again.” We don’t doubt either claim, and the resulting image is enough make a slasher aficionado giddy.

Halloween Poster Teases the Ultimate Horror Showdown, New Trailer Coming Tomorrow
For horror fans, every day is Halloween during the month of October. This year, however, will be one for the books. We're just about 6 weeks shy from the premiere of Blumhouse's Halloween, slated to slash into Us theaters on October 19th. It's being billed as a direct sequel to John Carpenter's original Halloween (released in 1978) and will see Laurie Strode (played by Jamie Lee Curtis) reunited with original Michael Myers actor Nick Castle for a battle royale 40 years in the making. Word on the street is that the footage released at Comic-Con last July will hit the Internet tomorrow in the form of a brutal new trailer. Today, producers are whetting our collective appetites with a new poster, one that brings Laurie Strode face-to-face with "The Shape"!

Face your fate. New trailer tomorrow. Same conflict today. 10/19/2018 @halloweenmovie#faceyourfatepic.twitter.com/Spj3smwPTp

Nick Castle to Reprise Role as Michael Myers in New Halloween Movie

  • DailyDead
The new Halloween movie is returning to its roots in more ways than one. In addition to bringing back Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode and having John Carpenter on board as an executive producer, the latest film in the Halloween franchise will also bring back the original actor who brought life to The Shape.

Bloody Disgusting reports that filmmaker and actor Nick Castle will reprise his role as Michael Myers in the new Halloween movie. Castle played the masked version of the cinematic killer (credited as "The Shape") in John Carpenter's original Halloween movie (while Tony Moran played the unmasked version of Michael and Will Sandin played a young Michael).

Just as in the original film, Castle won't be the sole portrayer of Myers in the new film, as Bloody Disgusting also reveals that stunt man and actor James Jude Courtney has been cast in the iconic role. Perhaps

John Carpenter captured the magic and essence of both the holiday and the epitome of slasher films on the low budget mega hit. With other films such as Friday The 13th and A Nightmare On Elm Street getting proper documentaries it was only a matter of time that Halloween would receive its time to shine. Tonights the night...

Halloween: The Inside Story is premiering tonight at 9/8c. The two hour special captures new interviews with the director and cast members such as John Carpenter, Jamie Lee Curtis, Rob Zombie, film critics, and many others, while also revealing behind the scenes footage from the film.
