Bobcat Goldthwait Says He ‘Probably Won’t’ Watch HBO’s Robin Williams Documentary
Bobcat Goldthwait enjoyed a long friendship with Robin Williams since they met at a comedy club kitchen in the 1980s up until Williams’ death in 2014. But Goldthwait has no current plans to watch HBO’s upcoming documentary about Williams’ life and career.

“I probably won’t watch the movie,” Goldthwait told Variety at Wednesday’s premiere of his new “Misfits & Monsters” anthology series. “Not out of protest — I just miss my friend, and I think it would be hard.”

The documentary, “Robin Williams: Come Inside My Mind,” features interviews with some of Williams’ closest friends and colleagues, including his longtime

‘Action Point’ Review: The Most Painful Thing Johnny Knoxville Has Ever Inflicted Upon Himself or His Audience

‘Action Point’ Review: The Most Painful Thing Johnny Knoxville Has Ever Inflicted Upon Himself or His Audience
Johnny Knoxville may be one of the world’s foremost scholars of self-inflicted pain, but he’s never subjected himself (or us) to anything even half as excruciating as “Action Point,” a dismal new comedy that will leave you longing for the relative artistry and sophistication of the “Jackass” glory days. Because, as much as this might look like a “Jackass” movie — as much as it might provide a ridiculously great premise for a “Jackass” movie — this joyless aberration is most definitely not a “Jackass” movie. It feels generous to call it a movie at all.

The basic idea should have been a total slam dunk. Inspired by New Jersey’s famously dangerous “Action Park,” a deathtrap that was forced to close when the owners were buried in an avalanche of personal injury lawsuits, “Action Point” was never going to be anything more than a masochistic playground built on top of a flimsy plot.

We’re Bringing Michelle Back to ‘Fuller House’ Because It’s What the People Want

Ever since the Olsen twins decided they weren't going to make a triumphant return to acting on Fuller House, fans have been pretty bummed. Like, seriously bummed. And every time someone like John Stamos teases the idea that hey, they just might come back after all, and then they don't, it breaks our hearts all over again. Honestly, we just don't know how much more we can take. Because here's the thing: Michelle was kind of the breakout star of Full House. Sure, Stephanie had her own snappy catchphrases, and Stamos and Bob Saget were already huge stars — but nobody's career blew up thanks to the show quite like Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's. After starring in the sitcom, the twins went on to release a bunch of their own movies, star in twin TV shows, even launch a fashion line for Walmart. They basically started an empire, and that's before

‘The Zen Diaries of Garry Shandling’ Review: Judd Apatow’s Doc is Like Going to a Funeral with the World’s Funniest People

‘The Zen Diaries of Garry Shandling’ Review: Judd Apatow’s Doc is Like Going to a Funeral with the World’s Funniest People
It’s a natural response when someone passes away, whether they’re a public figure or not, that we shouldn’t have to wait until someone dies to salute them for their achievements in life. Garry Shandling certainly wasn’t unappreciated during his day. He had two seminal comedy series (“It’s Garry Shandling’s Show” and “The Larry Sanders Show”), had a formative standup career, and, for a time, was a fixture of late-night TV.

But Judd Apatow‘s new documentary “The Zen Diaries of Garry Shandling” doesn’t solely focus on the career that audiences were familiar with. Using a chronological approach, Apatow outlines how Shandling‘s career was in many ways intertwined with the personal life that so many never got to see. So while this 4 1/2 hour film feels like a career overview for a man who was both loved and misunderstood, it’s also a rare
