Barbara Rütting was born on November 21, 1927 in Berlin, Germany as Waltraut Irmgard Goltz. She is an actress, known for Adventure in Berlin (1952), Postlagernd Turteltaube (1952) and Town Without Pity (1961). She was previously married to Heinrich von Einsiedel and Hans Rütting.

Trivia (10)

Was elected into the Landtag of Bavaria (state parliament) for the Green Party (September 2003).
Wrote the novel "Die maßlose Zärtlichkeit" (1970) and several successful children's and cook books.
Attended acting lessons in Copenhagen and Berlin.
Becoming a well known human rights and animal welfare activist, she retired from acting in 1983.
After her graduation in 1945, she fled to Danmark, where she worked in a library and as foreign correspondent.
Mother of the House in the Bavarian state parliament, the first woman to become its President by right of age (2003).
