Fernanda Rossi is a multicultural, New York based, screenwriter and director whose work focuses on women's intimate power struggles in relation to their larger socio-cultural context. Her feature-length directorial debut, Influenced, a chamber piece, was shot with an all-female crew. Fernanda has written ten fiction feature-length screenplays and two TV pilots. She also wrote and directed awarded short films.
In the twenty years she has worked as a co-writer and script doctor, two documentaries were nominated for the Academy Award®, and another was nominated for Best Script for the Wildscreen Panda Awards. Her collaboration in the fiction feature Muralla by Gory Patiño won Best Script by Argentores - the Association of Authors of Argentina.
