Jeff Rector is a versatile actor and award-winning filmmaker, recognized for his dynamic roles in major studio productions, independent feature films and television with over 150 projects from action-packed thrillers to heartwarming holiday films. Jeff's versatility has kept him in front of-and behind-the camera for decades. He's known for fully committing to every role and finding the truth in every character.
As a filmmaker, Jeff's first short film, a dark vampire comedy titled "Fatal Kiss" was picked up by HBO and later expanded into the feature "Revamped", which went on to global distribution with a all-star ensemble cast. As an accomplished writer, director and producer, Jeff continues to push his limits as storyteller. He is also actively exploring new opportunities including promoting his best-selling memoir along with a variety of other projects in the works. Jeff remains committed to creating impactful and engaging films that resonate with audiences worldwide.
A proud EMMY Voter and Television Academy member in both the Producers and Performers Peer Groups, Jeff is also blazing new trails as the Founder and President of AIMF (Artificial Intelligence Media Festival), a pioneering celebration of AI-powered films, music, art, and cutting-edge content. He also serves as Festival Director for the Tarzana International Film Festival (TZIFF), where he champions independent voices from around the world.
Off-set, Jeff is just as driven. He's a committed community advocate, having served on the Burbank Cultural Arts Commission and the Toluca Lake Neighborhood Council, and actively supports causes close to his heart-including The American Heart Foundation, Ronald McDonald House, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Boys & Girls Club, and The Frontline Foundation, which serves LA's homeless on Skid Row. Jeff continues to serve his community with passion and purpose.
When he's not on screen, Jeff enjoys playing guitar and singing Karaoke. Jeff also performs stand-up comedy at venues across the nation from "The Comedy Store", "The Improv", "The Laugh Factory" in LA, to "Caroline's" in NYC and the "Hard Rock Hotel" in Las Vegas.
Jeff graduated from Moorpark College where he starred in several theatrical productions and began writing, directing, producing and editing as a telecommunications and drama major. He was then recruited by the schools forensics team and became a State and National Speech Champion. Jeff graduated with an Associate of Arts degree in speech and telecommunication. In 2017, Jeff joined Toastmasters International (Speech Organization) and started competing, winning a variety of awards for "Table Topics", "Tall Tales", "International" and "Humorous" speech categories. Jeff is also a professional Spokesman, Host and accredited Public Speaker.
Jeff is living his dream in Southern California and continues to share his art with the world.
