  • TMZ
"Gears of War" took a former football player/wrestler and turned him into "Cole Train"-- a central character in the game -- and then stiffed him royally. Lenwood Hamilton claims he was going about his life last January when his son's friend showed him the video game, and he was flabbergasted ... he says "Cole Train" was simply him. So, Hamilton did what any red-blooded American would do ... sued. According to the docs ... the physical appearances are almost identical,

Cole Train set to return for new Gears of War?

Lester Speight, who provides the voice of Gears of War’s breakout character Augustus “Cole Train” Cole, has confirmed recently that he has been contacted about appearing in the newest, currently unrevealed game in the popular third-person shooter series.

Responding truly in character when questioned on whether or not he’d been asked to return, Speight replied, “#whoobaby Yup!” With the possible return of Cole, it seems likely that the new game will feature other fan-favourite characters such as Marcus Fenix and Damon Baird, though details are unknown at this time.

The new Gears of War has been alluded to, but not officially announced yet. Recently however, Microsoft acquired the Gears of War license from Epic Games, before giving the task of developing a new game to Black Tusk Studios. Rod Fergusson, who was the director of the original Gears of War trilogy, has returned to oversee development of the new title.

One of the numerous special features attached to the Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray and DVD release of Thor: The Dark World, is the latest Marvel short film, Marvel One-Shot: All Hail the King. Last night, I headed down to the Arclight Hollywood for a screening of this short, which features Ben Kingsley reprising his Iron Man 3 role as Trevor Slattery, the British actor who tricked the world into thinking he was a dangerous terrorist known as The Mandarin. These shorts have become big hits with the fans, but All Hail the King is by far the biggest one yet, that you surely won't want to miss.

The 15-minute short opens with Jackson Norris (Scoot McNairy) a documentary filmmaker who arrives at Seagate Prison for his final interview with Trevor Slattery, as he tries to figure out who, exactly, this mysterious man really is. However, before the interview itself, we see

Red-Band Trailer for We’Re The Millers Starring Jennifer Aniston and Jason Sudeikis

New Line Cinema has released a red-band trailer for Rawson Marshall Thurber's comedy We're the Millers. The film centers on a single, small-time pot dealer (Jason Sudeikis) who ends up in debt to his supplier (Ed Helms). In order to bring the next shipment of drugs up from Mexico, the dealer puts together a fake family from his stripper neighbor (Jennifer Aniston), an eager teen (Will Poulter), and a streetwise punk (Emma Roberts) as a cover for his smuggling operation. I wasn't even aware that this was an R-rated comedy, but there are some good jokes in here. In all fairness, this movie hasn't really been on my radar, which is surprising because I've been waiting for Thurber to do a comic follow-up to Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story. I was also a big fan of his "Terry Tate, Office Linebacker" commercials. Hit the jump to check out the trailer.

Transformers: Dark Of The Moon (2011): What did you think?

Now that you have seen Transformers: Dark of the Moon, what did you think of it? Is your movie review of Transformers: Dark of the Moon that it is better than Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen? It couldn’t have been worse, could it? We reviewed that Transformers film here: Film Review: Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen. Sami Jarroush, in the video below, feels the same way and touches on a few other key points.

Plucking down $12 -$20 dollars to see CGI robots fight in 3D is an expense some people have chosen to avoid in lieu of seeing the film in 2D for $5-$10. Were you one of them?

I have heard that critics are almost divided on the film and read some criticism of first-time actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley acting ability. If this is true, what did these people expect?

Catherine Tate: Meet Steve Carell's Potential 'Office' Replacement

The name Terry Tate has been synonymous with ridiculous corporate drudgery since a series of Reebok ads introduced us to a football goon known as the Office Linebacker who inexplicably dishes out punishment to abused drones working in a cubicle farm. But British actress Catherine Tate may soon be the Tate most associated with destroying white-collar workers' wills to live, if a Hollywood Reporter article suggesting that she has become the front-runner to replace Steve Carell on "The Office" turns out to be true and results in her joining the NBC

The Hollywood Reporter scored an exclusive with the story of writer/director Rawson Thurber (Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story) negotiating to film the pot comedy that started the film-scripting careers of Steve Faber and Bob Fisher back in 2002. The writing duo had been TV writers when they decided to write a comedy spec to break into features.

And so they birthed We’re the Millers, a story about a pot dealer who wants to make one last score before retiring from the business on his 30th birthday.

How big? 1,400 pounds.

How’s he’s going to drive a Winnebago to Mexico, fill it with over half a ton of weed, and drive it back across the border? By hiring a fake family.

Transformers: Dark Of The Moon (2011): Movie Trailer: Michael Bay

The Transformers: Dark of the Moon Movie Trailer has premiered. Michael Bay‘s Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011) stars Shia Labeouf, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Transformers: Dark of the Moon’s plot synopsis: “the Autobots and Decepticons become involved in a perilous space race between the U.S. and Russia, and once again human Sam Witwicky has to come to the aid of his robot friends. There’s new characters too, including a new villain in the form of Shockwave, a longtime “Transformers” character who rules Cybertron while the Autobots and Decepticons battle it out on Earth. The Autobots learn of a Cybertronian spacecraft on the Moon and must race against the Decepticons to find it and learn its secrets, which could turn the tide in the Transformers’ final battle.” I actually like the sound effects from the Transformers: Dark of the Moon: Super
