Louis Ralph was born on August 17, 1884 in Graz, Styria, Austria-Hungary as Ludwig Musik. He was an actor and director, known for Spies (1928), Flucht vor Blond (1928) and Kreuzer Emden (1932). He died in September 1952 in Berlin, Germany.

Austrian actor/director of silent era adventure and action films. Began on stage in 1894. His career declined after the arrival of sound.
When the talkies rang in a new era in the film business he concentrated to his activity as an actor in the first place. He impersonated impressive support roles in great productions like Alfred Hitchcock's "Mary/Sir John greift ein" (1931).
The actor and director Louis Ralph became an important personality in the time of pioneers of the German silent movie.
