Aeschylus Poulos launched his company, Hawkeye Pictures, with the feature film Sleeping Giant (2015 Cannes Film Festival, Semaine de la Critique) which has gone on to win numerous national and international awards including Best Canadian First Feature at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival. Prior to Hawkeye, Aeschylus co-produced Inescapable, starring Academy Award winner Marisa Tomei; Picture Day, starring Sundance award-winner Tatiana Maslany; the mini-series The Book of Negroes; and the thriller October Gale, starring Patricia Clarkson. Smith (Sense8); Mary Goes Round (TIFF '17); Tito (SXSW '19) and the international co-production Propaganda: The Art of Selling Lies (2019).
