McM Comic Con returned to Manchester at the end of last month, with a packed weekend of nerdy goodness taking place between 28th – 29th July at Manchester Central. And when I say packed I mean packed!

Guests included Cooper Andrews & Khary Payton from The Walking Dead; Zach McGowen, most recently seen in season five of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.; three voice actors from the ever-popular Overwatch: Charles Chung, Lucie Pohl and Gaku Space; as well as Mass Effect’s Jennifer Hale; and the now-legendary duo of Nolan North and Tory Baker, two video game voice performers whose names are synonymous with classics of the genre including Uncharted and The Last of Us.

Sopranos stars reunite for Sarah Q

Deadline is reporting that Sopranos veterans Tony Sirico (Paulie Walnuts), Vincent Pastore (Big Pussy), Federico Castelluccio (Furio), William DeMeo (Jason Molinaro) and Artie Pasquale (Burt Gervasi) are reuniting for the John A. Gallagher-directed movie Sarah Q.

According to the site, the film is “a serio-comic tale of a young girl’s struggle to succeed at a Manhattan acting conservatory”. Also featuring in the cast of the film are Emmy James, Burt Young, Sally Kirkland, Ashlee Macropoulos, Samantha Scaffidi, Tamara Skylar Jones, Josette Dwyer, Lucie Pohl, Shing Ka, Joseph D’Onofrio, and Garry Pastore.

Sarah Q is now shooting in New York, with Gallagher producing alongside Joe Benedetto, Paul Mammano and Shing Ka.

Action Star Paul Mormando and Director John A Gallagher to team Up for New Action Film.

Action star Paul Mormando (Bound By Debt)  is gearing up for his next film, to be Directed by Iconic New York Director John Gallagher (The Deli,Street Hunter).  The film titled " The Last Hero is being described as The Warriors meets BlackBoard Jungle. The Last Hero is an action packed revenge movie with an emphasis on star Paul Mormando's world class martial arts skills coupled with John Gallagher's prodigious directorial talents.  Joined by a strong cast that includes Artie Pasquale (Sopranos), Shing Ka (Revenge Of The Green Dragons) and the ever talented Lucie Pohl ( Sarah Q, Red Dwarf)    Filming is scheduled to begin in Early 2018....

The history of Red Dwarf is a series of jarring transitions, with the series evolving over the years to fit in with its surroundings (and, of course, its budget). The sprawling sci-fi of Red Dwarf V was different to the claustrophobia of Red Dwarf VI and VII, which underwent a massive transformation into the populated world and broader humour of Red Dwarf VIII, at which point the show went off air until the super low-budget real-world antics of Back to Earth… You get the idea.

A Demonic Abortion Takes Place in this Second Trailer for Magi

A second trailer for Hasan Karacadag's Magi has been released. From J-Plan Films, the clip blends a whole host of Catholic and World War II images. The film stars Michael Madsen, Stephen Baldwin and Brianne Davis. And, the film's first trailer was released late in 2014. The latest shows more horrifying imagery as journalist Olivia (Lucie Pohl) visits her pregnant sister Marla (Davis), in Istanbul. This will be no regular pregnancy, though. The latest on Magi is hosted here. The film was released in a few Turkish theatres, late in 2015. However, there are no plans to distribute the film in North America, despite the recognizable cast. Lony Ruhmann, Blanc/Biehn Productions and Give & Take Productions have announced the new thriller Psychophonia. With a story from Lony Ruhmann and screenplay by Nicholl Fellowship winner Barbara Stepansky, the new film will be helmed by Brianne Davis, who earlier this year directed The Night Visitor 2: Heather’s Story.

After her husband Jeremy is brutally murdered, artist Lilly Tarver struggles with his secret sex life and coming to terms with who he really was. While diving into his dark and potentially dangerous world, a mysterious caller might hold the answers to his death.

Blanc/Biehn, partners ready Psychophonia
Exclusive: Lony Ruhmann, Blanc/Biehn Productions and Give & Take Productions are ramping up production on the thriller.

Nicholl Fellowship winner Barbara Stepansky wrote the screenplay based on a story by Ruhmann about a widow who comes to terms with who her recently murdered husband really was as she probes his secret sex.

Brianne Davis, who earlier this year directed The Night Visitor 2: Heather’s Story, will direct.

Vedette Lim will play the lead and the key cast includes Andrew W Walker, Kellee Stewart Adam Rose, Daniel Quinn, Mark Gantt, Mitchell Fink, Lucie Pohl, Sean Hemeon, Nikita Black and Jenimay Walker.

Mark Gantt produces Psychophonia while Michael Biehn and Jennifer Blanc-Biehn (pictured) serve as executive producers alongside Ruhmann and Brianne Davis.

Blanc/Biehn Productions recently released Treachery through Traverse Media and completed post on Jennifer Blanc-Biehn’s directorial debut The Night Visitor.

A comedy film that is also a horror film Must Love Death looks like a lot of fun from the film's first trailer.
