Cannom Nabs Oscar® for 'Button'

Oscar® nominees gather day before for symposiumGreg Cannom won the 2009 Academy Award® for Achievement in Makeup for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. This was Cannom.s ninth Academy Award® nomination, and he previously won for Mrs. Doubtfire (1994, with Ve Neill and Yolanda Toussieng) and Dracula (1993, with Michèle Burke and Matthew Mungle). During the Feb. 22 broadcast, he thanked the film.s cast; his agent, Helen Cohen; the movie studios and the city of New Orleans, where much of the film was shot. .I share this with Colleen Callaghan, who should be up here with me,. Cannom said in his acceptance speech.
