Octavio Paz was born on 31 March 1914 in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico. He was a writer, known for El rebelde (Romance de antaño) (1943), I, the Worst of All (1990) and Sor Juana Inez de la cruz (1988). He was previously married to Marie Jo Paz and Elena Garro. He died on 19 April 1998 in Mexico City, Mexico.
