It's Official: Drew Barrymore Will Keep Eating People in Santa Clarita Diet Season 3

Feminist zombie fans, rejoice - Netflix's original series Santa Clarita Diet has officially been renewed for season three! We waited over a year for the delightfully twisted second season of the dark comedy, which stars Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant, and it looks like we'll have just as long of a wait this time around. Although the streaming giant's gruesome comedy series isn't slated to return until 2019 with 10 all-new episodes, that just means we have plenty of extra time to parse over all the twists and turns that season two takes.

The latest episodes focus on Sheila's family catering to their zombie matriarch to keep her alive, er, undead, with as little collateral damage as possible. Naturally things don't always go according to plan. "We have to kill people for her to eat them and survive, and also maintain some sense of sanity and normalcy of a marriage and

Timothy Olyphant in Talks to Star in Quentin Tarantino’s Manson Movie
Timothy Olyphant is in negotiations to star in Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” a drama set against the backdrop of the Manson Family murders.

The mystery-shrouded project has not yet gone into production. At Sony Pictures’ CinemaCon presentation on April 23, Tarantino said leading actors Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt will be “the most exciting dynamic star duo since Paul Newman and Robert Redford.”

The director also said the film will be the most similar in style and plotting to his iconic “Pulp Fiction,” for which he and Roger Avary won the Academy Award for original screenplay in 1995.

“It takes place at the height of the counterculture explosion,” said Tarantino. “It takes place at the time of the hippie revolution, and it takes place at the height of new Hollywood.”

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” hits theaters on Aug. 9, 2019 — the 50th anniversary of the murders of

I enjoy Olyphant's work and he'll make a great addition to the cast. There's no word on who exactly he'll be playing in the movie, but it's not hard to imagine him in the role of Charles Manson. This will be the first time that Olyphant and Tarantino have worked together.

He will join Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Burt Reynolds, Tim Roth, Kurt Russell and Michael Madsen in the film, which has been described as a Pulp Fiction-like film that centers on characters around Los Angeles in the summer of 1969. Sion Sono to Make English Debut with Nicolas Cage; Abderrahmane Sissako Sets New Film; Timothy Olyphant Joins ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’

The Cageaissance may be upon us. After earning his best reviews in years with Sundance’s Mandy, Nicolas Cage will help Sion Sono make an English-language debut with the post-apocalyptic picture Prisonsers of the Ghostland, which Deadline describes as the story of a “notorious criminal Hero (Cage) who is sent to rescue an abducted girl who has disappeared into a dark supernatural universe.” Melding the origins of its direcotr and setting, Reza Sixo Safai (what a name) and Aaron Hendry’s script finds them in “an East-meets-West vortex of beauty and violence” while trying to “escape the mysterious revenants that rule the Ghostland.” A lot of which sounds like nonsense, and very well could be, but Sono can handle that. And thoughts of the pairing alone will be worth the price of admission.

Meanwhile, Cohen Media Group have reunited with Abderrahmane Sissako for the Mauritanian auteur’s The Perfumed Hill.
