Sean O'Faoláin was born on 22 February 1900 in Cork, Ireland. He was a writer, known for The Promise of Barty O'Brien (1951), First Night (1963) and The Sinners (1970). He was previously married to Eileen Gould. He died on 20 April 1991 in Dublin, Ireland.
