Henri Norris
- Producer
- Additional Crew
A graduate of Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, and The Catholic
University of America's Law School, Henri Norris was a highly visible
attorney involved in the negligence lawsuits of women who were injured
from having ruptured breast implants. This field of law effectively
came to an end when she viewed an independent feature called "Follow Me
Home" that was written, directed, and produced by Peter Bratt. When Bratt
could not find any major distribution company to distribute his film,
Norris created New Millennia Films to help get Bratt's powerful message
to the screen. She remains one of the few African American women who
own a film distribution company. Moreover, she seeks to distribute and
produce films with social and political messages that are, more often
than not, rejected by mainstream production and distribution companies.
Blessed with legal and aesthetic acumen, Norris promises to become a
force to be reckoned with.
