- (On how he got a part in Songs from the Second Floor (2000)) "They found me at IKEA of all places. I and my wife chose fabric for a tablecloth when someone asked if I wanted to test film. I wasn't very interested, but did it anyway. I didn't know who Roy Andersson was, but had seen his first film A Love Story (1970) when I was young. Since the encounter at IKEA I have worked with Roy on seven commercials for Arla [a milk brand] in Finland and it has made me a kind of celebrity over there."
