Legends of Tomorrow Deleted Scene: Sara Learns About Ava's Ability to Love

Rip Hunter has words both laudatory and revelatory for Sara Lance in this deleted scene from DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

In Season 3’s penultimate episode, titled “Guest Starring John Noble,” the Legends were ramping up toward their final clash with Mallus, while also processing the recent reveal that Agent Ava Sharpe is a clone, created when Rip founded the Time Bureau.

In the scene above, Rip (played by Arthur Darvill) reassures a second-guessing Sara (Caity Lotz) about her performance-to-date as captain of the Waverider. He then ponders Ava’s own accomplishments, before sharing some very important intel about how

Intriguing First Look at John Noble & Rupert Graves in Silencio [Trailer]

Over the years, I've seen, heard and read about many a strange occurrence (thanks "Coast to Coast"), but there's always some other unexplainable thing around the corner and today I learned about another one: the Zone of Silence which also happens to be at the centre of Lorena Villarreal's Silencio.

The movie stars Melina Matthews as Ana, a woman on a quest to find a powerful stone which she thinks can save her son's life. I've watched the trailer twice and I can't quite figure out what the stone's power is but I'm getting some Looper vibes here and am starting to think that John Noble, who plays Ana's father, maybe travelling back in time.

The movie also stars Rupert Graves as an expert on the Zone of Silence and from the looks of it, his expertise isn't wholly scie

TV Stars Who Deserve Emmys but Have Never Been Nominated — IndieWire Critics Survey

Every week, IndieWire asks a select handful of TV critics two questions and publishes the results on Tuesday.

This week’s question: Who is the one performer deserving of an Emmy but has never been nominated?

(Of all time. This is open to any actors on canceled TV shows also, not just current contenders.)

Ben Travers (@BenTTravers), IndieWire

It’s Justin Theroux. It’s Eva Green. It’s Aya Cash. It’s Nick Offerman. It’s Constance Wu. It’s any number of singular, stand-out performances infuriatingly ignored over the course of multiple seasons. Each of these actors played the same role for three or more seasons in “The Leftovers,” “Penny Dreadful,” “You’re the Worst,” “Parks and Recreation,” and “Fresh Off the Boat,” respectively, and the TV Academy’s refusal to acknowledge their top-tier evocations is maddening.

But it’s also Lauren Graham, Adam Scott, Courteney Cox, Wendell Pierce,

Elementary Season 6 Episode 10 Review: The Adventure of the Ersatz Sobekneferu

I'm in favor of any reason to get John Noble back on TV.

That's why it was great that Sherlock's father Morland, played by Noble, came to visit on Elementary Season 6 Episode 10.

Walter Bishop on Fringe is my favorite of Noble's roles, but Morland is right up there. He does villains equally well.

Morland hasn't been seen since Elementary Season 4 Episode 24. That was when he took over the criminal network formerly run by Jamie Moriarty to protect Sherlock and Joan.

I figured that criminal mastermind that he is, Morland would have been already aware of Mycroft's death. But apparently not, as Sherlock ended up breaking the news to Morland.

That was what brought Morland to New York, to visit with his remaining, and implied lesser, son, Sherlock. Mycroft was set to inherit Morland's fortune and give the eulogy at his funeral, which should tell you where Sherlock stands in his father's estimation.

Elementary Sneak Peek: John Noble Returns Following [Spoiler]'s Death

The death of a family member reunites father and son on Monday’s Elementary (CBS, 10/9c), and in TVLine’s exclusive sneak peek, Sherlock uses the unfortunate occasion as an opportunity to make amends with his pops.

Former series regular John Noble returns for a two-episode arc as Papa Morland Holmes, who has surfaced in New York following his son Mycroft’s death, which viewers — and Sherlock — first learned about during last week’s episode. In the wake of the loss, Morland informs Sherlock that he needs to update his will, seeing as how Mycroft was the sole heir. Awkward!

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Season 3 Episode 17 – ‘Guest Starring John Noble’

Jessie Robertson reviews the seventeenth episode of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow season 3…

What in the actual hell is going on here? Legends loves to bend the rules quite a bit but there’s just so much happening this episode. A young “Barry” Barack Obama guest stars? Grodd is back, again and gets stuck inside a bottle. Damien Darhk teams with the Legends…and then of course, betrays them.

I put Ray’s face up here because he was just fantastic in this episode. From his song about Nate’s special codes for emergencies to him geeking out that he met John Noble because, well, the demon possessing Nora Darhk sounds a lot like him (he does the voice for Mallus). Tonight’s episode I enjoyed because it’s classic Legends craziness, but you could make an argument it’s just too busy. The main storyline I really was invested

Legends Of Tomorrow Season Finale Promo Reveals Mallus

If anything, the season finale of Legends of Tomorrow will be a star-studded affair, to say the least. I mean, not only will we bear witness to the returns of both Jonah Hex and Jefferson Jackson, but none other than John Constantine will be putting in an appearance as well!

Come to think of it, the Waverider crew will be needing all the help they can get, for next week’s conclusion will feature the final battle against Mallus, the very demon whom we merely heard the voice of to this point. It was a calculated risk by the producers, sure, but it made last night’s demise of Nora Darhk – whom he’d used as a vessel – all the more tragic.

So, if you tuned in for “Guest Starring John Noble,” you too saw the physical form of Mallus in the closing moments. But, if you want to savor the details,

Did 'Legends of Tomorrow' Introduce a Way to Keep Damien Darhk Around for Another Season?
Legends of Tomorrow has managed to do a lot of unbelievable things with its group of time-traveling heroes. However, in the penultimate episode of season 3, the biggest twist yet might've occurred. This isn't a reference to the Legends purposely letting Amaya save her village and create a huge anachronism. No, instead it's about what Legends of Tomorrow did with Damien Darhk and how the episode, "Guest Starring John Noble" might've managed to turn the supervillain into a kind of hero.

In this episode of Legends of Tomorrow, titled "Guest Starring John Noble," the team faces two difficult anachronisms. First, they have to stop Amaya from changing history in Zambesi 1992. Second, they have to assist Rip when he calls for help after Grodd attacks a young Barack Obama in 1979. If those two things aren't hard enough, the team is surprised when Damien Darhk turns to them for help. He offers Sara his help in defeating Mallus so that they can save his daughter.

Jonah Hex Returns In Legends Of Tomorrow Season 3 Finale Photos

The Waverider will be heading back to the Old West in the upcoming finale of Legends of Tomorrow‘s third season. While there, the time-travelling heroes will encounter their old friend, anti-hero cowboy Jonah Hex.

During the second half of the season, the Legends have been hunting down the six Zambesi totems in a bid to stop John Noble’s evil entity Mallus. However, it looks like the plan might not come together as the heroes would have hoped, meaning they have to think up an alternate solution. Apparently, that’ll involve recruiting some old pals and returning to one of the show’s favorite time periods: the Wild West.

Before we get to the official plot summary, here are some newly released photos from the episode, which tease us with what’s to come.

In New Legends Photos, John Noble Wigs Out — as Himself! But Why?
He who voices Mallus shows his face in next Monday’s Legends of Tomorrow, when John Noble plays himself… in an episode fittingly titled “Guest Starring John Noble.”

There have been no details on how Noble (who heretofore has voiced the demon Mallus) figures into the plot line for the April 2 episode, but in the photo above, Ray (played by Brandon Routh) appears to be visiting the costumed Fringe alum in his trailer — perhaps to deliver a “script” of some sort? Will the Legends recruit Noble to pass his voice off as Mallus’ own, to some sort of deceptive end…

The Waverider Heads To The Old West In Legends Of Tomorrow Season 3 Finale

The Waverider will be heading back to the Old West in the upcoming finale of Legends of Tomorrow‘s third season.

We’ve known for a while that the episode would feature the return of at least one fan favourite character – namely, anti-hero cowboy Jonah Hex, and now, the official synopsis reveals what else we can expect from the installment, which is punningly-titled “The Good, The Bad and the Cuddly.”

Here’s the full summary, courtesy of The CW.

The Legends plan to vanquish Mallus by using the totems doesn’t go as planned, forcing Rip (guest star Arthur Darvill) to improvise. The team finds itself regrouping in the Wild West where they run into their old pal Jonah Hex (guest star Johnathon Schaech).

Sara (Caity Lotz) leaves Ray (Brandon Routh) in charge of watching Damien Darhk (Neal McDonaugh), while she comes up with a new plan. Meanwhile, Amaya (Maisie

John Noble Will Soon Appear On Legends Of Tomorrow In An Unexpected Way

If you’ve been following Legends of Tomorrow this season, then you’re probably aware of how the current big bad, Mallus, is voiced by the incomparable John Noble. Having already lent his pipes to other DC characters in a variety of media – Superman: Unbound‘s Brainiac and Batman: Arkham Knight‘s Scarecrow immediately spring to mind – odds are that you’ve acquainted yourself with him at some point.

But when it comes to the demon Mallus, it’s been said that he’ll be a creation of CGI when we finally see him, perhaps hinting at a truly grotesque visage. Still, that doesn’t mean a physical appearance to be made by Noble is an impossibility, as executive producer Marc Guggenheim had this to offer in a recent discussion with Entertainment Weekly:

“We figured out a very Legends-like way to actually get John Noble the actor into the show.
