David Navarro is a professional working filmmaker, starting his movie career as a Gaffer then Lighting Director and Cinematographer. He now also writes, produces, directs & edits, having shot many festival award-winning projects, and when not working on set, he is busy developing and pitching future projects.
For the past 20 years, David has built a solid and lengthy resume of music videos, commercials, pilots, web series, and feature films. He has lit shows such as ESPN: Sports Science, Lucha Underground, Director's Chair with Robert Rodriguez, Man At Arms, Car Warriors, and many-many others.
David has worked with many established and award-winning production companies, such as El Rey, Base Productions, Fremantle, Dick Clark Productions, A. Smith & Co. Productions and Outlaw Laboratories.
With the many years of on-set experience, David strives to maintain an independent & strong filmmaking spirit.
Over the years, David has had the opportunity to study and work under the guidance of several award-winning Cinematographers, Directors, and Producers, which helped elevate him to become a more highly skilled and efficient filmmaker. But still, David continues to train and learn, as he feels it is essential to continually hone the craft toward achieving one's best as a filmmaker.
