Paola Mori was born on September 18, 1928 in Italy as Paola Di Girifalco. She was an actress, known for Mr. Arkadin (1955), Fanciulle di lusso (1953) and Crossed Swords (1954). She was married to Orson Welles. She died on August 12, 1986 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

Her name at the time she married Orson Welles was Countess Paola Di Girifalco.
Estranged from Orson Welles for final year of his life, the couple were never divorced. Oja Kodar was Welles' longtime companion both personally and professionally from 1966 on. A year after Orson's 1985 death, Paola and Oja finally agreed on the settling of his will. However, before the papers were signed, Paola was killed in a car accident. Subsequently, Oja reached an agreement with Beatrice Welles, daughter of Mori and Welles.
Step-mother of Christopher Welles and Rebecca Welles.
