Jay-Z, Moby, Dominique A Videos Feature in Annecy Lineup
The Commissioned Films competition at the 2018 edition of the Annecy Film Festival and Mifa market will feature 31 commissioned animated short films, chosen from 417 submissions. Participating films are either music videos, commercial advertisements or educational videos, which will compete for two awards: The Annecy Cristal for a Commissioned Film and the Jury Award for a Commissioned Film.

The participating films were selected by Annecy artistic director Marcel Jean and film and programming team members: Laurent Million, Yves Nougarède, and Sébastien Sperer.

Sperer has worked for Citia, the organization which runs the festival, for two decades. He has been on the selection committee since 2013, and in a conversation with Variety explained how those years of experience have led to a simple and streamlined selection process.

“We really know the job now,” he said. “Most of the films are chosen because they are astonishing and really beautiful.”

Someone on Twitter Tried to Age-Shame Pink - and Her Response Was Truly Mic-Drop-Worthy

  • Popsugar
One Twitter user just learned an important lesson the hard way: if you dare mess with Pink, she'll put you in your place - and her devoted fans will follow suit. After footage circulated showing the pop singer being serenaded by an adorable fan at a concert, one internet troll had the audacity to shame her appearance. "Wow Pink looks so old that should be named Purple instead," the person tweeted while replying to the viral video from Pink's Vancouver concert.

Merely an hour after the (very inaccurate) tweet was fired off, the 38-year-old star shared it with her 33.1 million Twitter followers - and added her own two cents about the joys of aging naturally. "I've earned every f*cking minute of my 38 years," the mother of two wrote before reminding her fans that "it's a blessing to grow old.

Everyone at Pink's Concert Was Left Speechless by This Fan's Cover, Including Pink
After a heartfelt social media campaign, a 12-year-old Pink fan was given the opportunity to perform in front of the insanely talented singer at her concert - and yes, she crushed it. A few weeks prior to Pink's concert in Vancouver on May 12, Victoria Anthony launched the hashtag #VicAndPink, and populated it with several videos and tweets requesting to sing with Pink.

The day of the concert, Anthony still wasn't sure if she would get her chance. Then, Pink walked over to Anthony's section and asked, "Are you who I read about on the news? Are you the singer? Do you want to come sing something?" Anthony approached the barricade and, despite her nerves, delivered a beautiful cover of "Perfect."

Pink's Uplifting Fan Moment Has Us Asking: Which of Your Idols Would You Want to Meet?
When Pink invited young singer Victoria Anthony to belt out a song at one of her recent concerts, the 12-year-old's heartfelt performance of "Perfect" stunned the audience and the pop star alike.

I stopped by The Talk today to share footage of the inspiring moment with the hosts. The uplifting footage prompted me to ask the ladies: if you could meet up with one of your idols, who would it be, and what would you do? Watch the segment above to see what they had to say - trust me, it's worth it to hear Sharon Osbourne's answer alone!

Pink Once Staged a ''Sit-in'' at Daughter Willow's School: ''She Wouldn't Talk to Me''
Pink is all about addressing familial conflict head-on, even if that means interrupting daughter Willow Hart's school day.  The singer admits in a new interview with Redbook magazine that she once staged a "sit-in" to properly discuss why the 6-year-old was "upset" and giving her famous mama the silent treatment.  Pink, who considers herself a "total crier," explained, "Willow won't cry ever, and it annoys me to no end. One day I had a sit-in at her school because I knew she was upset and she wouldn't talk to me. I sat down on the pavement and I was like, 'I'm not moving until you tell me about your feelings, because this is going to be a...

Singer-actor Himesh Reshammiya marries TV star Sonia Kapoor in private ceremony

Wedding Sharing some of their photos on his social media, Himesh wrote, “togetherness is bliss”.Tnm StaffHimesh Reshammiya/FacebookSinger-composer-actor Himesh Reshammiya married his long time girlfriend, actor Sonia Kapoor, at his residence in the wee hours of Saturday morning. Sharing some of their photos on his social media, Himesh wrote, “togetherness is bliss”. An official statement prior to the couple’s wedding, read, "Himesh Reshammiya will tie the knot with long-time girlfriend Sonia Kapoor. A simple ceremony will be held on the night of May 11 at his residence. The ceremony will be a close knit affair with just close family and friends. Himesh's parents and son Swaym will also be present for the occasion." He had told Mid-Day shortly before his wedding that they planned to throw a party for the film fraternity some time after the ceremony. He added that the wedding itself was a “last-minute plan” because of the auspicious mahurat. “The lagna time is 1.30am. Considering the odd mahurat time, we haven't invited any of our friends to the ceremony," Himesh said. He added that marriage was the “natural progression” in his relationship with Sonia, and that it felt good to “formalize their relationship.” The ‘Aashiq Banaya Aapne’ and ‘Tera Suroor’ hitmaker had last year gotten divorced from Komal, his first wife after over two years of marriage. He says the decision to separate was amicable. The news of their separation first came to light in September 2016 when they filed for divorce. Last year, Komal had said nobody was responsible for their separation, clarifying her stance on rumours that Sonia may have been a reason behind it. Sonia is a television actor, seen in shows like Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai, Jugni Chali Jalandhar, Yes Boss and Remix. Himesh’s wedding is yet another in the slew of Bollywood weddings to happen in the past few days. While Sonam Kapoor Ahuja married business Anand Ahuja in a Sikh wedding on May 8, actor and talk show host Neha Dhupia married actor Angad Bedi on May 10. Mara Justine flashback: Before ‘American Idol’ she sang Katy Perry on ‘America’s Got Talent’ at only 11 years old [Watch]
