Was offered the role of the sex-goddess "Carla" in Robert Patrick's play "Kennedy's Children" on Broadway, which won Shirley Knight a "Tony" Award, but chose instead to play the school teacher, "Wanda", because she wanted to build a career as a character-actress.
October, 2001 - Served as Mistress of Ceremonies for the 40th Anniversary celebration of La Mama, an Off-Off Broadway theatre that promoted the early careers of playwrights such as Paul Foster, Lanford Wilson, Robert Patrick, William M. Hoffman, Tom Eyen, Sam Shepard, Leonard Melfi and Harvey Fierstein.
