Vince McMahon’s 20 Biggest Real-Life Feuds

WWE.com

In his rise to global dominance in the world of sports-entertainment, Vince McMahon encountered many challengers and many opponents. Opponents that wanted nothing more than to knock the promoter off his self-made mountain.

Whether McMahon’s enemies grew as a result of a business relationship gone sour or as the target of a competitor, the narrative goes that Vince McMahon has conquered all. While there are some exceptions to that story, there’s almost nobody who has taken on Vinnie Mac without regretting it.

We’ll not even stop to consider the figurative squash matches he’s had; it takes two to have a rivalry and former foes like Lex Luger, Jeff Jarrett and Nailz just didn’t have the leverage or resources to keep a feud up with Vince. Others took McMahon to court like Rena Mero (aka Sable), her husband Brock Lesnar (though on separate, unrelated cases), and Superstar Billy Graham,

10 Insights Into Working With Triple H

wwe.com

Before I strike even one letter on my keyboard, I already know that this is going to be a losing battle for me. So, before I begin, I need to preface one thing: I have not worked for World Wrestling Entertainment for 15 years, and I don’t plan on working for them any time soon.

With the current structure of their creative “department”—I guess—there isn’t a chance of my personality, and my writing style fitting within their framework—not one chance. WWE Want Bruno Sammartino Inducted Into WWE Hall of Fame 2013

WWE officials have made overtures to former headliner Bruno Sammartino about being the marquee name inducted into the Hall of Fame Class of 2013. Contact has already been made but Sammartino’s decision on the induction has yet to be revealed.

Sammartino, who should really have been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in its early days of existence, was the longest-running champion in the history of the World Wide Wrestling Federation when he held the belt in two reigns that spanned 11 years in total. He was the most popular American wrestler in the 1960s and 1970s and carried Vince McMahon Senior’s organisation as the marquee star.

However politics have to date dictated Sammartino’s absence from the Hall of Fame. He left Vince McMahon’s WWE in the late 80′s, is disliked by the WWE owner and Sammartino has been very critical of the direction of the company

Sable Going Into WWE Hall of Fame Next Year?

One fallout from Brock Lesnar’s recent one-year deal with the WWE that will culminate in a marquee match at WrestleMania 29 is the speculation that his wife Rena Lesnar (Sable) will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. It is well known that Vince McMahon would ideally like to induct a female into the WWE Hall of Fame each year and Lesnar’s recent deal with the company makes her a very likely candidate for inclusion in 2013.

F4WOnline.com reports that Sable’s possible induction has not been confirmed by anyone yet in the WWE though it is easy to argue her case. In her first run with the company between 1996 and 1999 she actually became one of the major attractions in professional wrestling.

Sable began as a valet to her then husband Marc Mero but became popular in 1998 when she broke away from Mero and effectively became the
