Armand Meffre was born on 16 March 1929 in Maubec, Vaucluse, France. He was an actor and writer, known for Jean de Florette (1986), J'ai rencontré le Père Noël (1984) and Manon of the Spring (1986). He was married to Pomme Meffre. He died on 22 January 2009 in Auxerre, Yonne, France.
