Greg McLean(I)

After training as a fine artist before working as a director in Theatre and Opera, Australian writer, director, and producer Greg McLean's filmmaking career began when he wrote and directed the horror smash hit 'Wolf Creek.' The film played at the Sundance and Cannes Film Festivals before going onto worldwide 'cult film' status. After this success, he established Emu Creek Pictures, a production company based in Melbourne, Australia. He then wrote, directed, and produced the thrillers Rogue' and Wolf Creek 2', before directing, 'The Darkness', for Blumhouse Productions. In 2015 Greg directed 'The Belko Experiment for MGM, followed by 'Jungle,' a survival thriller based on real-life events starring Daniel Radcliffe. Greg Executive Produced and directed episodes on two seasons of the 6 part 'Wolf Creek' spin-off TV series for the streaming platform - STAN. Recently, he directed episodes on series including; 'The Gloaming' (ABC International), 'Bloom' (SONY TV) 'Jack Irish' (ABC), and the hit NBC Universal sci-fi series, 'La Brea' (Seasons 1 and 2). In January 2022, he directed two episodes of 'The Twelve', for Foxtel/Warner Brothers, and announced his Executive Producer role for a new venture called 'Huge Film', a partnership with fellow director Patrick Hughes to produce big-budget, genre, and action films in Australia.
