Roberto Mauri was born in 1924 in Castelvetrano, Sicily, Italy as Giuseppe Tagliavia. He was a writer and director, known for Eva, la Venere selvaggia (1968), Wanted Sabata (1970) and Il pirata del diavolo (1963). He died on November 12, 2007.
