Jon Keeyes takes over season 2 of web series "Throwing Stones"

Jon Keeyes Director Jon Keeyes (American Nightmare, Fall Down Dead) who has shown a clear understanding of what makes a horror film scary and suspenseful will be taking over directing duties for the web series "Throwing Stones". I liked the idea behind the first season of Throwing Stones and thought it featured a dynamic young cast, but I will be honest, I thought it missed the mark in terms of crafting terror and unease. So that's why I am excited to see Keeyes taking over as he has the know how to take what was missing from season 1 and improve upon that. I think Keeyes has the potential to be the next Wes Craven (Scream) if he can score that breakout hit as he has such a command on what makes a scary film scary. Hopefully, he can bring those skill sets to Throwing Stones and show the world what

Throwing Stones (Season 1 - Review)

2011 - 8 episodes (3-5 mins. each) - Not Rated

D: Bart D. Van Bemmel, Jason A. Wheeler

C: Cherami Leigh, Rebekah Kennedy, Lindsay Seidel, Chad Cox, Kayla Carlyle, Brina Palencia, Rachel Verret, Lynn Andrews III, Jon Christie, Spencer Harlan, Tom Hamlett, Bryan Massey

Group of high school students stuck serving Saturday detention are stalked and slashed by a madman.

Slick, polished horror web series for the most part is technically proficient with an interesting cast of up and coming actors, but severely hampered by non-existent plot. Throwing Stones features one moment after another of character development, but forgets to tell a story in the process! Frustratingly viewers are stuck waiting for something, anything to happen over the span of eight episodes, but it never does. Like every other show out there, the series needs to tell a story to involve viewers with, to engage them. Then it is acceptable to close

Throwing Stones is about a group of high schoolers who are given Saturday school to teach them a lesson, but instead they learn that there's a killer waiting for them! With his classic all American looks and tall stature, Spencer Harlan should be a young actor to keep an eye out for as that should be able to lend itself to him being able to slip into a wide variety of roles as he can dirty himself up to play edgier fare or he can stick to his current look

Alison Eastwood Opens The Door to the Paranormal

There's something about movies concerning talk show hosts we dig. From Talk Radio to even Pump up the Volume, there's just something about them. Especially when they're horror themed like Pontypool, etc. Well, there's another one coming our way so the question beckons ... will you answer the call?

According to Variety Alison Eastwood (pictured right) and Dallas Roberts will star in The Door, which will be produced by Capote producer Michael Ohoven.

The film, inspired by true events (of course), concerns a radio talk show host (Roberts) who's drawn to exploring paranormal activity by a caller and an unexplained death. Eastwood will play a Cdc investigator. They join a cast that includes Mariah Bonner, Bryan Massey and Tony Schiena.

Matthew Arnold helms from his own script, and production is under way in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Look for more soon!
