Jan Masaryk was born on 14 September 1886 in Prague, Bohemia, Austria-Hungary [now Czech Republic]. He was a writer and actor, known for Schweik's New Adventures (1943) and Bratislavské rozprávky (1991). He was previously married to Frances Crane Leatherbee. He died on 10 March 1948 in Prague, Czechoslovakia [now Czech Republic].
