Kenneth Mars was born on April 4, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. He was an actor, known for Young Frankenstein (1974), The Producers (1967) and The Little Mermaid (1989). He was married to Barbara Newborn. He died on February 12, 2011 in Granada Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA.

Recorded a comedy LP where he portrayed Henry Kissinger.
He had two daughters with his wife, Barbara: Susannah Mars and Rebecca. He also had six grandchildren.
The son of stand-up comic and radio star Sonny Mars, Kenneth began acting as early as 1961 when he was with the first national company of "The Sound of Music" as Baron Elberfeld--also in the cast was Barbara Newborn, who became his wife--and understudied the role of Max. In 1963 he graduated with a degree in Fine Arts and Drama from Northwestern University.
He died from pancreatic cancer at his home in Granada Hills, Los Angeles.
