Stephanie March on What Law and Order: Svu and Alex Cabot Mean to Her
Law and Order: Svu holds a special place in Stephanie March's heart, it was one of her first on-screen role after all. The actress, who starred as Ada Alex Cabot from season two-five and made various guest appearances over the years, returns to the drama on Wednesday, April 18 for the first time in six years. "If you asked me the first time around, when I first left initially, what it meant to me, I would say, 'Well, this was a terrific experience and what a great way to start," March said. Law & Order: Svu Season 19 Episode 18 Review: Sunk Cost Fallacy

Alex Cabot was always my favorite Ada.  She always tried to do the right thing and wasn't above bending the rules in the name of justice.

And her "death," followed by the reveal that she was going into Witness Protection, broke my heart. So I was ridiculously excited to learn Cabot was returning to Law & Order: Svu Season 19 Episode 18.

I loved every minute of her guest appearance and was heartbroken all over again that this is probably the last we're going to see of her, at least for a while.

As soon as Svu assumed Jules and Ruby Hunter were dead, I knew that they had disappeared and that Alex was helping them.

The promo had shown Benson confronting Alex, and I remembered a similar story on the original Law & Order where a kid supposedly kidnapped from a supermarket had been taken by some people who were protecting her from an abusive parent.

Stephanie March on Her Law and Order: Svu Return, Sparring With Mariska Hargitay and a New Side of Alex Cabot
Stephanie March is back (as are the glasses of justice) as the fan-favorite character Alex Cabot, but it might not be a happy reunion on Law & Order: Svu. Cabot and Benson (Mariska Hargitay) cross paths in "Sunk Cost Fallacy" when the Svu squad investigate the abduction of a woman and her young daughter. You'll find out what Cabot's role is at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18, but fans do know Benson and Cabot aren't exactly on the same side of things. "So many scenes that Mariska and I have done in the past are fairly procedural, you know related to, 'the police have done so the attorneys should do'—straightforward," March told E! News. "What was great about...

Everyone Thinks BFFs Bobby Flay and Giada de Laurentiis Are Dating But the Reality Is They Can Hardly Get Along

We wish! Many fans (rightly) assume celebrity chef BFFs Bobby Flay and Giada de Laurentiis are dating — but, sadly, the two aren't together. Why, you ask? Probably because they have trouble getting along sometimes! The friends competed on Iron Chef America together in 2006, but things didn't exactly go as planned —they lost to popular chefs Mario Batali and Rachael Ray. "We lost and he thought it was funny," Giada revealed in a new interview on her podcast Beyond the Plate. "He didn’t think it was any big deal that we lost. I did not talk to him for eight months‚ eight months! I did not. Nothing. Silence." Giada was mostly mad that he didn't take their defeat seriously (understandably). "I thought, you know, I took this very seriously. It was a very big show, especially at that time, and I’ve cooked, I’ve gone to culinary school, I
