Erika Mann was born on 9 November 1905 in Munich, Germany. She was a writer and actress, known for Königliche Hoheit (1953), Bekenntnisse des Hochstaplers Felix Krull (1957) and Peter Voss, der Millionendieb (1932). She was previously married to W.H. Auden and Gustaf Gründgens. She died on 27 August 1969 in Zurich, Switzerland.
