Stéphane Mallarmé was born on 18 March 1842 in Paris, France. He was a writer, known for Penthesilea: Queen of the Amazons (1974), Dream (2008) and Cher Mallarmé (1993). He was previously married to Marie Gerhard. He died on 9 September 1898 in Paris, France.
