Arthur Malet was born on September 24, 1927 in Lee-on-Solent, England as Vivian R. Malet. He was an actor, known for Halloween (1978), The Secret of NIMH (1982) and Mary Poppins (1964). He died on May 18, 2013 in Santa Monica, California, USA.

English supporting actor of stage and screen, in the U.S. from the mid-1950's. Tended to play characters older than his own age. Won two Drama Desk Awards in 1957.
He was cast as Tootles in Hook (1991) after the original choice, Richard Attenborough, declined the role as he was busy directing Chaplin (1992).
Never married and left no survivors.
His scenes in Bedknobs and Broomsticks were cut from the original release.
