Raised in rural Newfoundland, this Gemini award-winning actor/comedian started performing as a teenager and has been at it ever since. His work has taken him through the world of theatre, stand-up comedy, improv and more recently to his role as Andrew Palmer on NBC/Global Television's The Firm, starring Josh Lucas and Juliette Lewis. In 2010 starred as Detective Vik Mahajan in the critically acclaimed crime drama Detroit 1-8-7 on ABC.

HBO's "Every Word is Absolutely True" which follows Shaun as he embarks on his first national stand-up tour, garnered critical praise for its candid look beyond the public persona to reveal his more intimate and complex side in this feature length documentary.

In January 2013, Shaun's documentary series called Majumder Manor debuted on the W Network in Canada, about his dream to transform his rural hometown of Burlington, Newfoundland into a high end, sustainable tourist destination. The successful series continues with season two airing in May 2014.

Shaun's television career has included starring in the Farrelly Brothers comedy Unhitched, as well as roles on 24 and Cedric the Entertainer Presents on Fox, Robson Arms on CTV, and Da Kink in My Hair on Global. In addition to his multiple appearances on 22 Minutes, Shaun has appeared in Hatching, Matching and Dispatching and Republic of Doyle for CBC Television. Shaun's Comedy Central Presents special also debuted on Comedy Central in 2008.

His film credits include Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, The Ladies Man, Pushing Tin, Purpose, and Bob Funk alongside Rachel Leigh Cook and Olympia Dukakis. Shaun is also a favorite of Montreal's Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, having hosted the TV series for three seasons. He resides in Los Angeles.
