Najeeb Mahfouz was born on 11 December 1911 in Cairo, Egypt. He was a writer, known for El Fetewa (1957), El wahsh (1954) and Saladin (1963). He was previously married to Atiyyatallah Ibrahim. He died on 30 August 2006 in Cairo, Egypt.
