Maggard lied about portraying Ronald McDonald between in national commercials between 1995-2007. He was subsequently the subject of a short documentary in which he re-stated this false claim. Maggard's claims have been debunked numerous times and McDonalds properly acknowledges Jack Doepke and David Hussey as the only two actors to portray Ronald during the time-span that Maggard claims.
