Nearly three years after Payton Leutner was stabbed 19 times by two classmates when she was 12 years old, the Wisconsin teen is thriving as a high school freshman taking Advanced Placement courses.

“Today, Payton is a strong young woman who is excelling in school and doing many things that a teenager would do with her family and friends,” says family spokesman Steve Lyons.

On Tuesday, the same day Payton turned 15, a Waukesha County judge set a trial date in her case for Oct. 2 and ruled that a confession by suspect Morgan Geyser will be admissible. The judge also ruled there will be no change of venue,

More than two years after police say she was stabbed 19 times by two friends and left for dead in Waukesha, Wisconsin, Payton Leutner has settled back into her life as a high school freshman.

“There’s some normalcy after this horrific premeditated crime, and we’re just very proud of her,” Leutner family spokesman Steve Lyons told Wisn.

Alchemy Acquires ANconnect and Anderson Digital Distribution Companies

Alchemy boosts distribution operations

The distributor announced on Monday corporate acquisitions and a strategic alliance that builds its annual content flow to more than 1,300 films and 3,000 TV episodes.

Alchemy CEO Bill Lee (pictured) and his team have acquired the film distribution assets of ANconnect, the physical distribution arm of family-owned Anderson Media Corporation.

The distributor has also bought digital films and television distributor Anderson Digital, which prior to this acquisition was co-owned by Charles Anderson and partners Freyr Thor and Steve Lyons.

Anderson will become an investor in Alchemy while Thor will serve as Alchemy’s svp of product management.

A strategic alliance with Arc Entertainment, a leading supplier of faith and family content to Walmart and other national retailers, will see Alchemy distribute Arc’s media assets.

It will also provide financial support for the growth of the Bentonville Film Festival, the brainchild of Geena Davis, Arc president Trevor Drinkwater that launched in early May in Arkansas.

Usually the developers will tweak something here, or add a new feature there, and of course, there is the requisite roster update, but each year it always seems that the new game is just a polished version of the old game, and sometimes, we gamers feel taken advantage of by the game makers for shelling out $60 each year.

The geniuses at San Diego Studios find a way each season to make each new version of The Show looks, sound and feel new, even if they are guilty of everything I just mentioned.
